Work & Education
My most recent work has been (of course) virtual assistance, blogging (I have 2 blogs), and being a mom of 2 (is that work? well, yes it is!). Balancing it all is NOT easy! With a sensory-seeking preschooler and a baby-turned-toddler, my day never slows down. But, I've developed a system of batching and time boxing to stay on schedule (with a flexible plan). (something I teach others through my Busy Mama Consulting and online course).
But, in my life before kids, I was a project manager/producer for an agency where I managed a multi-million dollar mobile project (among other, smaller ones). My client list included Nick Jr, Penguin Random House, Toys R Us (RIP), and Microsoft.
I have a bachelors in environmental studies and a minor in creative writing. This degree was earned while working full time running a 40,000 member base program for a non-profit, as well as overseeing annual giving (donation) campaigns, and undertaking prospect research.
